The absolutely best hamburgers you will ever eat. Period. It's a shame the fries are mediocre. Salad and sides very good also. Nice wines and beers, decent pricing. Go for the burgers. Just writing this makes me want to go and have one...

Lovveeee this restaurant!!! The mushroom sauce on this chicken was so good. Everything was cooked perfectly, the chicken was tender but cooked well, the the fries were crispy and fresh, I even ate all of the salad because the dressing was so good! Also their chocolate mousse was so bomb!!! Light and fluffy and not too sweet, we loved our food and I will definitely go back.

Super disappointed with this restaurant. Went during a busy night and signed up for the waitlist. Waited for over 45 min. with constant reassurance we would be next to be seated. The employee seating guests skipped over us not once but three times.

Laurel Tavern is the best spot for casual drinks and food in a nice setting. They have TVs for those at the bar, a patio for those with dogs, and some quieter spots as well. The beers are decently priced, you can get some great draft beers around $7, and the food is delicious. I got the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, which was excellent, and the Garlic Parmesan Fries, which I kept thinking about the next day. I even lost my glasses somewhere around the time I visited here, and the staff was so friendly and helpful trying to locate them for me. Didn't find them, but the effort did not go unnoticed! Definitely recommended.

Stopped by for lunch and was impressed. Great atmosphere and the food is good, but the service could be a little more attentive. You order at the bar and that is the end of your interaction, unless you sit at the bar of course. The price is on the reasonably high side. Strongly recommended.

Fantastic atmosphere. The food is at the high end of what you can expect from a gastro pub... and the beers are good as well.

Decent bar with light dishes. Great list of drinks. No service at the table. You need to order at the bar even if you are sitting at a table. And the barman keeps your credit card in the meantime. Other than that everything else is good.

Absolutely loved the lemonade basil cocktail. Very light and refreshing. The turkey club, grilled artichoke, and meat & cheese board were all delicious. The sandwich and meat and cheese board were much bigger than I expected, too, so I have leftovers for dinner. The artichoke was a little bit drowned in balsamic, but it tasted great and was cooked nicely, and the ranch was a nice complement to it.

I had a smoked turkey club sandwich and it was really good. they also have a good selection of beer on tap. The prices are about the same as other similar taverns.

Edamame was overcooked, sent it back and gave up on the replacement because it took too long. Charcuterie was good. Wish they'd rotate taps more.

Nice place to go for drinks and food. Don't call the chicken sandwich a chicken burger. You will confuse them no end.

Had a delicious salad fried chicken salad here and a couple delicious beers. Was pretty crowded, but worth checking out imo. Has tables for dining, but majority of people just had drinks.

Good food good drinks great selection on liquor... some stuff i havent seen in other bars before. Girls are always nice and friendly. Burgers are veeryy yummy!

Great little bar off of Ventura with a great happy hour from 3-6pm and lots of drink choices. Service is fast and efficient! Both indoor and outdoor seating, so if you have a doggo you can definitely still come and enjoy a drink!

Fun casual bar, with great food, amazing vibe.I have been going there for awhile now, and always had great experience. Great crowd coming, nice atmosphere. The menu there is not too big, but everything is delicious and fresh. They have good vine and beer selection. Gets packed in the evenings, so don't try getting there late, will probably not find a table to sit, but you can always use their bar too

Love this pub. Relaxed atmosphere, nice mix of people in the crowd. Food is fantastic: pork belly- the bomb. Burgers: amazing (I substituted with the Beyond Burger Patty, delicious). And the drinks: awesome. Love the El Chapo and spicy Margaritha. But it is almost always packed. Just get there not too late to get a table. You order your food and drinks at the Bar, no table service. Works well, the prices are kept moderate that way. Will be back!

If I return it will be for carry out. The host was awesome as well the food server but the blonde and guy at the bar on Sunday ruined my experience. The ambiance was awesome and I love the concept. Hot Chicken sandwich is a homerun! No alcohol for me on sundays but the brews were flowing and cocktails seemed enjoyable to those around me.

Public Hour from 3 pm to 6 pm Monday to Friday, the fish tacos are just ok but the burgers and fries and bacon Brussel sprouts are good.

Food was great- menu isn't huge, but a fair selection of good bar eats. The fish tacos were great! Nice atmosphere & delicious crafted cocktails. You have to order from the bar which is a bummer, as standing there for a long time waiting to place you order actually kept us from having a second drink. Seems like they'd make way more money if they employed waitstaff.

Saw the chicken on Instagram and I told my grand baby to get me one. This s__! was good as f@&/. I’m definitely bringing my church group here.

Came here with my friend on a recommendation but was pretty disappointed with the service we received.We were seated at a lovely corner table to begin with, which was fantastic, but our waiter told us (he asked but you could tell it wasn't really a question) to move as a lady with a pram came in about 20 minutes later and wanted our table. Because there were only two of us and four of them (inc. baby carriage) we got shafted to a narrow table next to the door squished in next to another group of people.This left a rather sour taste in my mouth as we had been sitting there for quite a while prior and had already ordered food, it made me feel like we weren't really worth good service as there were only two of us so, obviously, our bill wouldn't be as large.Apart from this, the drinks were good and the burgers tasted AMAZING! Some of the best burgers I've had. Shame the waiter had to ruin it... we still tipped well.

The Laurel burger was excellent medium-rare, and the sides of garlic fries and brussel sprouts were very tasty. Great tap list.

It has a nice ambience.nice friendly waiter. Unfortunately the wait time for food was really long. no exaggerating at leale 45 minutes. Did was good though. I had the Sherman burger well done. Fries were delicious.

Great service, greet beer selection, great atmosphere. Plenty of seating from bartop to community table to booths, as well as patio seating. Happy hour is a steal with some snacks and great deals on drinks. Amanda was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Loved the whiskey selection, from scotch to japanese to bourbon. Same owners as fryman tavern in toluca lake. Highly recommended. I had the fish tacos and the el chapo which was really delicious. Worth checking out with your friends!

It was possibly the new 'Norm' 4 Ventura blvd restaurant & Pub life now moved outside w/ tables/ benches/umbrellas stretched out to alley on the side. service was quick drinks little & pricey but I highly recommend their great garlic fries!
